Last week, our team was delighted to host a pop-up stand at Fishergate Shopping Centre in Preston, where we spent the week chatting with local residents about how they could access free home insulation and heating improvements.
A Warm Welcome from the Preston Community
The people of Preston gave us a fantastic welcome! Throughout the week, we spoke with hundreds of visitors who were keen to learn more about energy-saving grants and how the ECO4 and GBIS schemes can make a real difference to their homes and finances.
Many were pleasantly surprised to find out they could qualify for free cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, heating system upgrades, and even renewable energy measures, all fully funded through these government-backed programmes.
To thank those who took the next step, we offered a £25 Amazon voucher to eligible customers who booked their free home energy survey at our stand. It was fantastic to see so many people eager to start their journey toward a warmer, greener, and more energy-efficient home.
Building Our Brand and Making a Difference
The Fishergate pop-up was a huge success — not only in helping local households learn about the government-funded insulation schemes, but also in strengthening our brand presence in the Preston area. We were thrilled by the level of engagement and the number of conversations we had with homeowners, tenants, and landlords alike.
The event reaffirmed just how many people could benefit from ECO4 grants and GBIS funding but aren’t yet aware they exist. By being out in the community, we were able to answer questions face-to-face and help people understand the process of qualifying for free upgrades.
